Teaching Schedules and Venues

Most of the classes of the MEM programme are usually held in the School of Design and Environment (SDE), but for certain modules, students may have to attend classes in the respective faculties. For example, the classes for Environmental Law are held in the Faculty of Law on the Bukit Timah Campus.

Most classes on the MEM programme are held in the evenings, from 6.30 to 9.30 pm. However, some Elective modules which generally form part of existing graduate programmes, may be taught during other periods of the day.

Part-time candidates on the MEM programme attend up to two 3-hour evening classes per week in each semester, while full-time candidates attend up to four 3-hour evening classes per week. Seminars under the compulsory Seminar Series are held at roughly fortnightly intervals, and are usually convened on Friday evenings, at 6pm to 8pm.
