Environmental management is no longer a rare phrase in today’s business. Yet, in the industrial world there are very few environmental managers engaged at a level of decision making.

This is an interactive discussion on how to be successful in environmental management in an industrial situation. It will provide a perspective of Environmental Management in management thinking and some of the ingredients of success needed to engage Management.



About  the speaker

LK Loh has worked in the Environmental, Health and Safety field for the last 19 years. He has worked for Intel, Hewlett Packard, Environmental Resource Management  and General Electric including a stint in the Corporate Headquarters of Hewlett Packard. In addition to being a Functional Manager for Environmental Health and Safety, LK also set up a branch office of an International Environmental Consultant Company as a Managing Director.


LK graduated in Biochemical Engineering from Reading University and obtained his Technology and Development in relation to Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London University.


Currently he holds the position of Regional Director of Environmental Health and Safety at GE Plastics Pacific.
