Abstract

This seminar will provide an overview of how to handle the Media – and the public – in the event of a disaster.   

 

It will focus on dealing with the Media; anticipating questions; disaster communication channels; the Emergency Response Team; Communicating  with the Media during a disaster.

 

The talk will be delivered in an interactive way that involves numerous real-life examples, and guarantees maximum interaction between the speaker and the audience.

 

 

 

About   the  speaker

Iain Ewing has conducted seminars in Singapore, Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Australia, USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe and South America for Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament, Chief Executive Officers, Managers, Executives and Professionals in more than 400 companies and government organizations.  His clients include many of the most successful multinational corporations.

 

He has worked as a University Professor and Media Producer in tertiary educational institutions, as well as a TV producer, director and actor.   As a result, he combines an understanding of the commercial needs of the private sector, together with the academic rigour and discipline of the tertiary institution.  He has lived in Singapore since 1985.
